This is a modified version of our popular Travel Adventure Map of Padre and Mustang Islands. This map is printed in 1 color with brown ink on parchment style paper giving it an "old" look and feel. The dimensions are 24x36. 20,000 copies will be printed (plus or minus 10%). Each advertiser will receive 1 copy for each dollar spent on the ad (i.e. an advertiser who buys a $199 ad will receive 199 maps). Maps will also be distributed through local Chambers of Commerce and area visitors centers.
The map is intended to maximize your exposure during the 2005 tourist season. The maps will be delivered in Spring of 2005 and all copies will be distributed during 2005. The ad prices do not include ad design and layout. Finished ads should be delivered on disk or in a scanable format. The front side of this map shows an indexed street level map of South Padre Island, Port Isabel, Laguna Vista and Laguna Heights. Public buildings, schools and points of interest are shown. Advertisers who are located in this area will have a symbol on the map showing their location. 41 ad spaces of various sizes are available. Multiple spaces can be combined to create a larger ad. The back side of this map shows a fanciful look at the history and legend surrounding Padre and Mustang Islands. The map accurately shows the current shoreline, access roads to the islands and various recreational areas. It documents the history of the area and includes legends of sunken treasure ships and buried pirate loot. 18 business card size spaces are available at a cost of $239 each.
