Aerial Photos of the Texas Coast

Select a region to view thumbnail images. Click on a thumbnail to zoom in. Click in the center of the image to zoom in even more. Some images may take some time to load but we think you will find it worth the wait. Click on it again to zoom out. Click on the right side of the image to pan to the right (east), click on the left side to pan to the left (west), or you can use the left and right arrows to pan east and west. It is not possible to pan up/down (north/south). You can also see a slide show of the area. Click on one of the thumbnails (the first image is the one in the upper left corner), then click the slide button. Click on the up arrow to return to the thumbnail images. These are color infrared images. In infrared images, vegetation shows up as red. They are best viewed with your monitors color palette set to higher than 256 colors. More than 500 images are included.

Historical Maps of Texas

We have obtained a variety of old maps from various sources and made them available here for download. The original maps were not in the best condition and the digital files have been processed to reduce their size, therefore the quality on some is not very high.
